Shampoo Technician1

This course is designed to provide a program of education, which results in a student who has the necessary skills to become a Licensed Shampoo Technician in the State of Tennessee, and subsequently to enter the job market at an entry-level position.

 

Objectives

  • To develop the knowledge, and understanding of the theory of Shampooing, as well as the skill and appreciation of the practice of a Shampoo Technician.
  • To develop good habits in sanitation procedures.
  • To learn proper care and utilization of supplies.
  • To prepare student for the State Board examination in order to obtain a license to practice Shampooing.
